The Rebuild Project provides economic sustainability to Refugee Artisans based in Rome. Using their existing skills we are co-collaborating creating one of a kind hand made products.
We are currently in production working alongside The Sewing Cooperative designing our Cyanotype Bistro Aprons, Market and Travel bags. Each product is made from 100 % Italian cotton that we source from local artisanal shops in Lazio. We have carefully selected iconic images of Rome and hand print each one on Italian Linen. Our team carefully stitches together each piece ensuring quality and endurance. This unique line not only appeals to chefs and restaurants but to consumers across the globe. We have already sold to the far off reaches of NYC, Australia, New Zealand and Norway and have designed custom orders for wineries in Frascati and cooking schools on the island of Sardinia. Our team is made up of young and hard working West African dressmakers who's background started in women's fashion from Gambia, Senegal and the Ivory Coast. We are grateful to come alongside each and every one of them for what nations have sought to tear apart, we shall seek to sow together, one thread at a time.
